Getting started in Command Center

The Command Center powered by ServiceNow simplifies data management by providing a dynamic 360-degree visualization of golden records from DataHub storage. The golden record visualization presents metadata in a way that lets business stakeholders gain insights into the data’s context, history, and quality.

Prerequisites

You don't need a ServiceNow account to utilize the Command Center. However, you will need to do the following to get started:

• Register your user account with the Command Center.
• Ensure you have the MDM Command Center Explorer role or have the MDM Command Center Explorer privileges enabled.

MDM Command Center Explorer privileges:

• API Access
• MDM - Stewardship
• MDM - View Repositories

With Advanced Security turned on, you must have the following entitlements:

• MDM - View Records

  Read User Management settings to learn more about configuring access for users.

Access Command Center with SSO

You can now access Command Center through DataHub using Single Sign-On (SSO).
